Have you met Wufoo? Wufoo is an awesome app that lets you easily create forms to collect data. I use it often.
Recently, I created a faculty form for conference faculty to register for the upcoming conference, provide their bio, photo, and other information. Separately, I created a registration form that is being used by attendees to register and pay for the event.
That second form ultimately becomes my master database for so many things as the conference approaches. I wanted to be able to import my faculty data into my registration database, without having to re-key it. Today, I discovered CSV to Wufoo.
With a few clicks, and providing (temporarily) the Wufoo API key for the form, you can import your data from a Google Apps spreadsheet or from a .csv file. CSV to Wufoo even allows you to map fields, which is particularly handy when you’re combining two different databases that are not quite alike.
The next time you need to import into Wufoo, check out CSV to Wufoo, and make your job a little easier.
